Open Source Resources

This Intellectual Outcome is targeted directly at schools aiming to provide them with the resources they need in order to introduce AI as a subject for teaching and learning. One barrier that teachers have told us about is the lack of teaching and learning resources and materials. Whilst there are commercial tools and materials available – for instance programmable robots – these are expensive and many schools have limited budgets.

We are developing;
a) Develop a directory of Open Source software and hardware that can be freely used for learning about AI
b) Produce a directory of Creative Commons licensed learning materials that are free for adaption and reuse
c) Best practice exemplars from across the world showing how the resources can be used in creative and innovative ways for teaching and learning about AI
